Berkshire Botanical Garden – Rooted in Place

5th Annual Ecological Gardening Symposium

Berkshire Botanical Garden’s 5th annual ecological gardening symposium challenges gardeners to think what can we do to welcome wildlife and plant diversity into our gardens. This year’s Panel Discussion: Incorporating Native plantings Into Traditional Landscape Design talks about the benefits of biodiversity as it relates to Climate Change, the real problems we are facing with invasive species, as well as how to mitigate them. The panel also talks about the importance of using native species, garden maintenance, attracting fauna, as well as ideas on how to incorporate native plants into a design.
